iCommons iSummit 2007
I just got news that I received a scholarship to attend this year’s iCommons iSummit in Dubrovnik, Croatia. I will be attending the legal day as part of the team from CC-Scotland, and I’ll be wearing my Open Rights Group hat as well. I’m not presenting or anything, but I will be soaking up all the info I can. Not to mention soaking up Croatia — I plan to do a bit of traveling while I’m there.
The draft programme is out, but it doesn’t have too much detail. From the site, the cofirmed speakers are:
Jimmy Wales (Wikipedia Founder), Lawrence Lessig (Creative Commons CEO), Joi Ito (Creative Commons Chairman), Lawrence Liang (Alternative Law Forum), Cory Ondrejka (Linden Labs CTO), Benjamin Mako Hill (MIT).
And BTW, thanks for the incoming links from:
