Separating out the elections in Scotland
After the numerous mistakes and spoiled ballots (140,000 of them) that happened this spring in the Scottish elections, Scottish council umbrella group Cosla has called to separate out the local council elections from the elections for Scottish Parliament.

The Open Rights Group observed and reported on the elections and concluded that they could not express confidence in the areas observed. This was mainly due to the problems with trying to implement e-voting across the UK.
